GTA’s Greenville, SC office has been established to better support our existing clients who have projects in South Carolina. GTA serves residential, commercial, industrial, energy, and institutional clients, contractors, architects, and civil engineering firms. As typical of our other locations, the Greenville office provides timely, value-based solutions to problematic conditions and construction challenges through our expertise in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and construction materials testing.

John Wille, Vice President and partner, will manage the Greenville office. John joined GTA in 2006 as an Associate responsible for opening and managing our Charlotte, NC location. He was also instrumental in opening our Raleigh, NC office. In 2016, he was named a Vice President of GTA. As a registered professional engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee with more than 27 years of experience, John specializes in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services. His extensive experience managing geotechnical aspects for residential, commercial, high-rise construction, land development, and transportation projects include shallow foundations, deep foundations, lateral earth pressures and retaining walls, slope stability, geosynthetic reinforced slopes, rigid and flexible pavements, earthwork, ground improvement, and foundation underpinning to name a few.  John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UNC – Charlotte, and he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and NAIOP.
