Kristen Daly, with almost 20 years of environmental experience, has been promoted to Associate in GTA’s Baltimore, Maryland office. Kristen joined GTA in 2016 and has extensive experience with environmental investigation and remediation in the Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions.  She has managed environmental aspects of residential, multi-family, commercial, and industrial development and remediation projects for a range of clients including private developers, lenders, commercial partnerships, institutional property management, and municipalities.

Kristen specializes in all phases of due diligence (Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments); remediation of sites with soil, groundwater, and soil vapor impact; human health risk assessment; and development and implementation of remediation solutions to facilitate beneficial reuse of underutilized properties. Additionally, she has been managing the growing GTA environmental program in the Carolinas, and helping to lead the development and training of staff in both the Maryland and North Carolina offices.

Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology and Studio Art from Hamilton College in 2001, as well as a Master of Science degree in Geology from Boston College in 2003.

Kristen is currently managing remediation projects that include former industrial sites, a commercial retail plaza, a 30+ acre park, and a multi-phase, mixed-use planned development that will comprise an entire neighborhood in South Baltimore, as well as due diligence tasks for properties located in Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
