GTA performed over 100 soil and rock core borings to depths approaching 130 feet for the new Four Seasons hotel and condominium complex and Legg Mason office building located directly adjacent to the harbor waterfront. Work also included residual soil and rock permeability testing, and installation of observation wells. The new structure features a 22-story hotel and condominium tower encompassing 455,000 SF (with capacity of construction to 45 stories), a 26-story, 600,000-SF office tower, and a five-story below-grade parking garage, requiring a 24-hour dewatering system, due to its close proximity to the waterfront.
