Randy Daub joined GTA in 2020 as the Associate responsible for opening and managing our Northeastern Ohio office. During his tenure with GTA, he also took on the task of managing our Pittsburgh Metro location. Randy has been instrumental in growing both offices and now serves as a Vice President responsible for overseeing geotechnical and construction observation and testing projects performed from those locations.
 
During his more than 28 years of practice, Randy has earned a reputation for solving difficult geotechnical challenges and providing a high level of personal service. As Vice President, Randy will continue to serve the best interests of our clients, provide project management, lead the offices and cultivate staff development, and seek out new business opportunities.
 
Randy is a licensed professional engineer in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and earned his MBA degree at Youngstown State University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is currently Vice President (and a Past President) of American Society of Civil Engineers’ Youngstown Chapter and is a member of the ASCE Akron-Canton Chapter. He is also a member of American Concrete Institute’s Northeast Ohio Chapter, American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Franklin, PA Chapter, a committee member of the ASHE Cuyahoga Valley Chapter, a member of ABC’s Western PA Chapter, and a member of the Penn-Northwest Development Corporation.
 
Randy is currently managing geotechnical and construction observation and testing services for numerous projects in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and West Virginia for a wide variety of project types, including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, oil and gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
