We are pleased to announce that Zach M. Klaren, has been promoted to Associate of GTA Associates, Inc.!

Zach Klaren has been promoted to Associate of GTA Associates, Inc.’s (GTA) Charlotte, North Carolina office where he is responsible for leading the Construction Observation and Materials Testing (COT) department.

With more than 12 years of experience, Zach oversees Charolotte’s COT teams as they provide services for residential, commercial, and highway/roadway projects throughout The Carolinas.  His areas of expertise are in managing site development inspections/testing for mass grading earthwork, commercial special inspections, NCDOT and SCDOT roadway/highway projects, retaining walls, stormwater management facilities, chemical stabilization, cast-in-place concrete, deep foundations, and other various geotechnical and construction monitoring activities. As an Associate with GTA, Zach is also responsible for mentoring and developing personnel, and business development for the Charlotte COT department.

Zach earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Belmont Abbey College.  He is a member of International Code Council, Geoprofessional Business Association, American Concrete Institute, Associated Builders and Contractors – Carolinas Chapter, NAIOP – Charlotte Chapter, and Charlotte Regional Alliance Group.

Zach is currently managing COT services for a wide variety of commercial properties, multi-family apartment buildings, residential communities, department of transportation/roadway, and institutional projects in North and South Carolina.
