About
The Belmont College of Medicine consists of a six-story building encompassing roughly 195,000 SF. The structure utilizes a spread foundation on the bedrock surface with post-tension elevated slabs. The exterior maintains Belmont’s Greek revival aesthetic, complete with pillars and Cinderella staircases.
GTA was on-site to provide geotechnical services, project management, scheduling and field observation/testing for concrete placement and post-tension floor slabs.
