The work in geotechnical engineering, environmental science, and construction testing reaches into almost every type of project. Because these fields cover such a broad range of work, career paths are just as varied. 

Every GTA office has its own rhythm, but across the company, there’s a shared energy that runs through every team: people who work hard, have fun together, and take real pride in what they do. We see it in the collaboration that happens day-to-day and in the friendships that form outside of work.

Since opening in 2006, our Charlotte, North Carolina office has grown from just a few associates to more than 45 across the field and office. Today, the team tackles construction observation, materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental work, and residential builder projects.

At GTA, our field technicians are the backbone of what we do. They are the ones on site every day testing materials, observing construction, and ensuring every project stands on a solid foundation.
