GTA performed a geotechnical subsurface exploration to repair an existing timber retaining wall that was failing. GTA also provided a soil nail wall design and monitored the installation of the soil nail wall. A total of 79 production soil nails were installed to repair the existing timber retaining wall. The soil nails were installed to a depth of approximately 20 linear feet at an angle of approximately 15 degrees from horizontal. In addition, reinforcing steel and shotcrete was installed along the face of the wall.
