GTA provided Construction Observation and Materials Testing (CoMET) and Special Inspection services for a 282,255-square-foot industrial warehouse at 3060 South 61st Street in Philadelphia from December 2024 through June 2025. Services included footing subgrade evaluations using DCP testing and probing, along with inspections of reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, and structural steel. GTA also monitored slab and foundation preparation and performed site work observation such as grading, soil evaluation, structural fill testing, utility backfill verification, and asphalt and concrete sampling. Throughout the project, GTA’s team delivered testing, documentation, and oversight to help ensure construction generally conformed to project plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
