The Resurgent is an approximately $32 M, 275,000 square feet multi-phase, mixed-use project in East Greensboro led by the North Carolina A&T Real Estate Foundation in partnership with Cone Health adjacent the NC A&T Campus. Designed to spark economic growth in an area facing high poverty and unemployment, this development serves as a vital community catalyst.

The project features a 5-story building that provides:

• Primary and urgent care to a medically underserved population.
• North Carolina A&T nursing students will complete their rotations at the clinic to hone their professional skills with on-the-job experience.
• Office space to house:
  • The NCA&T Real Estate Foundation
  • The East Greensboro Entrepreneurship Hub
  • The NC A&T HR Department, which will free up valuable office space on campus that will be used to better student life.

GTA provided special inspections and construction materials testing for the project consisting of soil, foundation, concrete, steel, pavement and fireproofing testing during construction.
